About

Rohit Kumar — Frontend Developer & Creative Technologist

I’m Rohit Kumar, a student and frontend developer focused on learning how good websites are actually designed and built.

My interest sits somewhere between engineering and visual design: I like writing the code behind an interface, but I also care about hierarchy, spacing, typography, motion, responsiveness, performance, and the way a real person experiences the finished product.

I’m currently completing a BCA while building projects, exploring 3D web experiences, creative coding, and AI-assisted development. My goal isn’t simply to make websites that look good in a screenshot.

How I work

Builder

I learn by building. Instead of keeping ideas as tutorial exercises, I turn them into small products, experiments, and interfaces that can be tested and improved.

Detail-oriented

I notice the small things first — inconsistent spacing, awkward transitions, layouts that break on mobile, or a button that doesn't behave the way someone expects.

Design-aware

Frontend work isn't just "make the design file into HTML." The interface itself is part of the engineering problem.

Iterative

A first implementation is never automatically the final one. Projects are expected to evolve. That's not a bug — that's how good software gets made.

“I learn best by building. When I encounter a concept I don’t understand, I turn it into a small experiment and use the result to understand the underlying idea.”

What I Bring

01

Frontend Engineering

Responsive, accessible interfaces built with React, modern CSS, and a strong eye for the structure underneath the visual layer. Performance and maintainability are part of the brief — not afterthoughts.

↗
02

Interaction & Motion

Animation that communicates rather than decorates. Entrance reveals, state transitions, hover feedback, and subtle motion that makes an interface feel alive — while respecting reduced-motion preferences.

↗
03

Design Thinking

Hierarchy, spacing, typography, contrast, and component consistency. A technically correct interface can still feel confusing or unfinished. I care about both the code and how someone experiences the result.

(FAQ)Common Questions

Got questions?

Yes! I occasionally take on freelance projects, depending on my schedule. If you have an exciting UI/UX or Frontend development project in mind, feel free to reach out via email.

My core stack revolves around the React ecosystem. I heavily use Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. For fluid animations and motion design, I exclusively use Framer Motion and GSAP.

(06)Have a good idea?

Let’s make
it real.

I’m interested in frontend development opportunities where I can contribute to real products, learn from experienced developers, and continue improving my understanding of production-quality web development. Open to internships, freelance work, and collaborative projects.
